The presentation of UNESCO's e-platform on Intercultural Dialogue, operating with the support of Azerbaijan, was held at the UNESCO Headquarters
The 215th session of the UNESCO Executive Board continues. The presentation of UNESCO's e-platform on Intercultural Dialogue was held within the session.
Elman Abdullayev, Permanent Delegate of Azerbaijan to UNESCO, and Gabriela Ramos, Assistant Director General of UNESCO for Social and Human Sciences, spoke at the presentation of UNESCO's e-platform for Intercultural Dialogue. They talked about the importance of Intercultural Dialogue, its contribution to peace and tolerance, as well as its positive impact on cultural diversity and inclusion.
With the initiative of the President of Azerbaijan, Ilham Aliyev, the role of the Baku Process was specially emphasized in order to establish a dialogue between cultures, detailed information was given about the contributions of our country to the intercultural dialogue and the implemented projects.
It was noted that UNESCO's e-platform on Intercultural Dialogue operates with the support of the government of Azerbaijan. As the electronic platform is a global initiative, it is open to all UNESCO member states.
